    The Bob Jones varsity boys soccer team had an 8-0 victory against Decatur in their season opener Tuesday at Madison City Stadium. William Artiga scored four goals to lead the Patriots. Also scoring one goal each were Paul Tassone, Jared Mitchell, Max Isper and Tyler Rist.

    The Patriots next play Randolph at 5 p.m. on Thursday at the turf field behind Bob Jones High School. (More …)

  • Bob Jones High SchoolVeteran coach Uwe Spiller, who is a staff coach with Huntsville Futbol Club, will be the new  head coach of the Bob Jones Patriots boys soccer team. Spiller has been coaching at all levels of club soccer since 1991. He said he began playing soccer as a 6-year-old in Germany and continues to play as an adult. At a meeting with parents Thursday night Spiller said he believes the Patriots can be in the state final four every year and he hopes to build a soccer dynasty in Madison. (More …)
