  • Madison’s Marcy Smith was chosen as American Cheerleader magazine’s Cheerleader of the Month for December and graces to cover of that month’s issue. Smith, a senior, is a member of the 5-time National Champion Bob Jones cheer leading squad. Smith was flown to New York for interviews and to have photographs taken for the magazine.

  • Bob Jones High SchoolBob Jones High School is offering summer sports camps beginning in early June. The camps give young athletes a chance to receive special sports instruction and to learn the coaching methods of their potential future coaches. The Patriot Camp prices range from $20 to $65 and include a t-shirt. Payment is due two weeks prior to the beginning of each camp.   • Congratulations to the Bob Jones High School Cheerleaders for winning their 5th straight National Championship at the UCA 2010 National High School Cheerleading Championship in Orlando. Thanks to Coach Tara Murphy we now have a photo of the championship group.

  • The Bob Jones High School Cheerleaders won their 5th straight National Championship over President’s Day weekend.  They competed in the UCA 2010 National High School Cheerleading Championship held February 12 to 16 in Orlando. The Patriot cheerleaders, lead by Coach Tara Murphy, won first place in Large Varsity Division I. Their performance at the championship will be shown on ESPN at a later date. Below is video of their performance in the finals.
