The Bob Jones girls and boys basketball teams both play today in the AHSAA 6A regional finals at Wallace State. The girls play at 9 a.m. against Sparkman. The boys take the court at 10:40 a.m., also against Sparkman. Live scoring and stats for both games are being made available by the AHSAA.

Both the Bob Jones girls and boys basketball teams advance to the AHSAA state basketball regional finals on Friday. Here are two stories from The Birmingham News on the victories:
- “Minor’s boys basketball team came into its Class 6A Northwest Regional semifinal with the mindset of trying to stop Bob Jones’ Levi Randolph and Kyle Dennis on the offensive end.The Tigers stopped Dennis. They couldn’t stop Randolph.”
- “Defending Class 6A champion and current No. 2 Bob Jones used a withering defense to shut down upset-minded Hillcrest-Tuscaloosa in the Northwest Regional here on Tuesday.”
