Bob Jones drumline holding fundraising car wash Saturday: The Bob Jones Patriots drumline is having a car wash Saturday, Sept. 3, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the front parking lot of Bob Jones High School. The drumline is raising money to attend the World Championships in Dayton, Ohio.

The Bob Jones High School marching band was awarded a Superior Rating in all categories Saturday at the Pride of the Valley Marching Festival in Pinson Valley. The Patriots earned a 1 rating in color guard, dance line, drum major, drum line and band.The band also was recognized as best in AAAA Class for color guard, dance line, drum major, drum line and band. The also brought home awards for Best in Class AAAA Overall Band and Chief of the Valley, the best overall band in the large divisions.
